Job Requirements
- Ability to read and communicate in the English language
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals and the ability to compute percentages
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- Strong basic computer skills
- At least one-year previous food service or customer service experience
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively by phone, in person and other means
- Exposure to patient environment
- No driving required

- Experience with CBORD preferred
Job Duties
- Communicating effectively, timely and courteously with patients, nursing, and family members when obtaining meal choices to enter into the CBORD computerized Room Service tablet system
- Verifying patient satisfaction and identifying meal service problems
- Assisting patients on missed meal report for menu selections each meal
- Communicating with the dietitian or dietetic technician when patient food, beverage, or supplement intake is poor
- Communicating patient’s special requests for food not allowed on their diets or diet education
- Accurately entering and updating all meal selections, orders, preferences, special requests for food in CBORD system
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
- Delivering all patient nourishments, snacks and tube feeding products
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Possibly performing duties of the Room Service Call Representative as needed
