Job Requirements
- Ability to read and communicate in English
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- Strong basic computer skills
- At least one-year previous food service or customer service experience
- Ability to stand and walk extensively
- Physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Exposure to patient care environment

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and compute percentages
Job Duties
- Communicating effectively, timely and courteously with patients, nursing, and family members when obtaining meal choices
- Entering meal selections into the CBORD computerized Room Service tablet system
- Verifying patient satisfaction and identifying meal service problems
- Assisting patients on missed meal reports for menu selections
- Communicating with dietitian or dietetic technician regarding patient food, beverage or supplement intake concerns
- Communicating patient special requests related to diet or diet education
- Maintaining clean and sanitary work environment including waste disposal and equipment operation
- Delivering all patient nourishments, snacks and tube feeding products
- Performing duties of the Room Service Call Representative as needed
- Working well in a team environment
