Job Requirements
- Ability to read and communicate in English
- Ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- At least one year previous food service or customer service experience
- Ability to stand, walk and perform repetitive motions
- Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Effective communication skills via telephone, in person, and other means
- Exposure to patient care environment

- At least one year previous food service or customer service experience
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Experience with CBORD system preferred
Job Duties
- Communicate effectively, timely and courteously with patients, nursing and family members when obtaining meal choices
- Enter meal selections into the CBORD computerized Room Service tablet system
- Verify patient satisfaction and identify meal service problems
- Assist patients on missed meal reports for menu selections each meal
- Communicate with dietitian or dietetic technician regarding patient food, beverage or supplement intake
- Report patient special requests or diet education needs
- Maintain clean and sanitary work environment following departmental policies
- Deliver patient nourishments, snacks and tube feeding products
- Perform duties of the Room Service Call Representative as needed
