Job Requirements
- Associate degree in culinary arts preferred
- Minimum one year experience
- Three years extensive production experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Physical ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift moderate to heavy food supplies
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Ability to follow recipes
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Ability to plan food preparation
Job Qualifications
- Associate degree in culinary arts preferred
- Manager certified food safety license preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations
- Ability to plan food preparation
- Experience in quantity food preparation preferred

Job Duties
- Review menu entrees to ensure timely preparation and advanced preparation items ready for assigned menu
- Review food production figures and coordinate with supervisor to minimize spoilage and waste
- Measure, weigh and combine ingredients for soups, meats, sauces, and gravies according to recipes
- Cook regular and special diet foods
- Inspect and taste food for correct seasoning, quality and proper serving temperature
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, microwaves, grills, fryers, blenders, slicers, and mixers
- Estimate food requirements and control serving portions to reduce costs and leftovers
- Maintain all equipment, utensils and work areas in sanitary condition
- Ensure proper coverage, storage and dating of foodstuffs
- Perform other duties as assigned
