Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks under time constraints
  • Basic knowledge of weights, measures, and mathematical functions

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a patient care capacity preferred

Job Duties

  • Deliver patient trays including meals, snacks, and NOW trays
  • Assist patients with tray positioning and opening food items
  • Load and transport hot and cold food carts to patient units
  • Operate cart lifts, dumbwaiters, and elevators for transportation
  • Complete menu rounds process to record patient meal selections
  • Adjust menus based on dietary restrictions and prescriptions
  • Retrieve and return patient trays to main kitchen, clean and restock carts
