- Basic knowledge of weights, measures and mathematical functions

- Prior experience in a patient care capacity preferred
Job Duties
- Delivers patient trays including scheduled meals, snacks, floor supplies and NOW trays
- Assists patients with food tray positioning and menu selection review
- Loads and pushes hot and cold food carts and transports equipment
- Completes menu rounds to communicate menu system and record patient choices
- Adjusts menus for modified diets and informs patients about food alternatives
- Retrieves patient trays and returns them to the main kitchen
- Cleans and restocks food carts
- Utilizes computerized menu planning systems to verify diet orders with nursing staff
