Job Requirements

  • Must be available to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays
  • Previous food service or in-room dining experience required
  • Luxury or fine dining background preferred
  • Must demonstrate a professional and polished appearance at all times
  • Strong verbal communication and guest interaction skills required
  • Must maintain high standards of cleanliness, accuracy, and efficiency

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in food service, preferably in-room dining or hospitality
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver trays and carts with food and beverage items
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional demeanor, reliability, and strong team collaboration are essential

Job Duties

  • Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms promptly and professionally
  • Ensure proper setup and presentation of trays, carts, and in-room dining amenities
  • Accurately communicate guest orders to the kitchen and confirm special requests
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Room Service area and pantries
  • Retrieve trays and carts from guest rooms in a timely manner
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests with courtesy and efficiency
  • Handle guest feedback or concerns in a prompt, courteous manner, escalating as needed
  • Uphold The Jefferson Hotel’s service standards at all times
