Job Requirements

  • Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and lift as needed
  • capability to sit, stand, walk, or kneel for extended periods
  • must be able to work independently without direct supervision and manage time efficiently
  • proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding primary workplace languages
  • physical capability to move and operate housekeeping equipment over uneven surfaces

Job Qualifications

  • Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Sorting, counting, folding, and transporting linens
  • making beds in guest rooms to meet hotel standards
  • replenishing supplies, including drinking glasses, writing materials, and bathroom items
  • thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, kitchens, lobbies, lounges, bathrooms, and other designated areas
  • performing floor maintenance by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing as needed
  • cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
  • dusting all furniture and equipment
  • polishing metal fixtures
  • washing windows, walls, and woodwork to maintain a fresh appearance
  • emptying waste baskets and cleaning ashtrays
  • transporting trash to designated disposal areas
  • replacing light bulbs when required
  • completing additional tasks as assigned by management
