Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years of relevant food service experience
- Serve Safe Food Sanitation certification
- Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull carts
- Compliance with safety, health, and OSHA regulations
- Ability to work under varying temperature conditions
- Must obtain Indiana Horse Racing Commission License
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- College degree or culinary arts degree or equivalent experience
- Three years of experience as Room Chef or similar multiunit operation role
- Ability to set up and run various restaurant outlets
- Advanced cooking knowledge and techniques
- Experience with menu development and food pairing
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and basic math
- Certification in Serve Safe Food Sanitation
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Knowledge of HACCP guidelines
- Ability to obtain Indiana Horse Racing Commission License
Job Duties
- Support the Executive Chef in food production
- Prepare and cook raw and cooked food products
- Coach staff on menu preparations and company procedures
- Develop menus and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Manage efficient station setup and prep work
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards
- Oversee inventory control and waste management
- Assist in budgeting and purchasing
- Communicate with supervising chefs and kitchen staff
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and equipment safety
