Job Requirements

  • Minimum age 18 years
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Clean and service assigned guest rooms and bathrooms according to procedures and standards
  • Change sheets and make beds in stay-over and check-out rooms
  • Dust tables, nightstands, dressers, light fixtures, televisions, air conditioning units, and window ledges
  • Clean all mirrors
  • Notify guest services when rooms are ready for sale
  • Report rooms unable to be serviced and needed repairs to supervisor
  • Respond to guest, supervisor, and management requests promptly
  • Maintain linen cart and supplies neat and organized
  • Secure equipment, keys, and supplies issued daily
  • Report lost and found articles to supervisor
  • Replace light bulbs
  • Transport trash and waste to disposal area
  • Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, writing, bathroom supplies, and linens
  • Follow team cleaning and self-inspection programs
  • Keep maid station clean and organized
  • Make rollaway beds
  • Provide a professional appearance and adhere to company policies
