Job Requirements
- Minimum age 18 years
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and hotel policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to follow procedures and standards carefully
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Friendly and courteous manner
Job Duties
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms and bathrooms according to procedures and standards
- Change sheets and make beds in stay-over and check-out rooms
- Dust tables, nightstands, dressers, light fixtures, televisions, air conditioning units, and window ledges
- Clean all mirrors
- Notify guest services when rooms are ready for sale
- Report rooms unable to be serviced and needed repairs to supervisor
- Respond to guest, supervisor, and management requests promptly
- Maintain linen cart and supplies neat and organized
- Secure equipment, keys, and supplies issued daily
- Report lost and found articles to supervisor
- Replace light bulbs
- Transport trash and waste to disposal area
- Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, writing, bathroom supplies, and linens
- Follow team cleaning and self-inspection programs
- Keep maid station clean and organized
- Make rollaway beds
- Provide a professional appearance and adhere to company policies
