Job Requirements
- Ability to stand walk bend and lift for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals
- Work involves frequent bending reaching and stooping
- Ability to walk and stand all day
- Ability to lift push and pull up to 50 lbs every shift
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus but not mandatory comprehensive training provided
- Strong cleaning and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in time management to complete tasks efficiently
- Ability to handle physical stamina demands of the job
- Keen attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness
- Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting preferred
- Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and safety regulations preferred
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain guest rooms according to established standards including making beds cleaning bathrooms vacuuming dusting and replenishing amenities
- Handle light laundry duties such as washing and folding linens
- Manage room inventory reporting any shortages or damages to your supervisor
- Provide excellent customer service responding to guest requests and addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety regulations
- Follow established procedures for handling lost and found items
- Collaborate effectively with housekeeping colleagues to ensure efficient workflow
- Report any maintenance issues in guest rooms to the appropriate personnel
