Job Requirements
- Ability to perform physically active housekeeping tasks involving frequent bending, reaching overhead and squatting
- ability to lift, carry and place objects weighing up to 30 lbs without assistance
- ability to push and pull objects weighing up to 75 lbs without assistance
- ability to remain on feet for extended periods
- ability to remain stationary for one hour and perform physical activities such as moving about, pushing, kneeling, bending, balancing, squatting, reaching and stretching for up to eight hours per day
- ability to tolerate moderate to occasionally loud noise levels typical of hotel settings
- ability to communicate effectively and understand written and verbal instructions in English

Job Duties
- Oversee the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms and facilities
- make up beds and change linens
- sweep, scrub, mop floors
- vacuum carpets, rugs and draperies
- wipe down and sanitize wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
- dust or clean and polish furniture, fixtures and fittings
- empty and clean trash containers
- pick up litter around property
- take in-room inventory and report product use and items guests have taken to purchase
- report any need repairs
- ensure all lost and found items are logged
- sort, wash, load and unload dirty laundry, then fold and put away clean laundry
- assist guests by answering questions
- be familiar with property amenities, local recommendations and fun things to do in the area
- perform other duties or special projects as assigned
