Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Clean all guest rooms as assigned within the required time limit
  • update daily assignment sheets and turn in to the Housekeeping Supervisor at shift end
  • change bed linens and make beds
  • replenish room supplies including amenities and linens
  • lift and move furniture as needed
  • clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using appropriate methods
  • dust and clean all furniture and fixtures
  • thoroughly clean bathroom areas
  • polish woodwork and metal fixtures
  • clean windows, door panels, and sills
  • empty wastebaskets
  • replenish bathroom supplies and terry
  • sort, count, fold, and distribute linen to closets
  • organize and stock cleaning carts and linen closets
  • transport trash and waste to disposal areas
  • conduct deep cleaning projects in accordance with hotel standards
  • clean hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other work areas
  • perform general cleaning tasks following health standards
  • turn in lost and found items per procedures
  • practice emergency procedures and loss prevention guidelines
  • report maintenance issues and ensure rooms are repaired before releasing
  • ensure work area cleanliness at shift end
  • perform other duties assigned by manager or supervisor
