Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in the hospitality industry preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to four hours
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
  • Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions and physical tasks
  • Understanding of safety and security policies
  • Ability to follow emergency procedures
  • Self-driven with strong attention to detail

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Clean all guest rooms within the required time limit
  • Update and turn in daily assignment sheets and keys to supervisor
  • Change bed linens and make beds
  • Replenish room supplies including amenities and linens
  • Lift and move furniture as needed
  • Clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture
  • Dust and clean all furniture including fixtures and electronics
  • Thoroughly clean bathrooms including shower, sink, floor, and toilet
  • Polish woodwork and metal fixtures
  • Clean windows, door panels, and sills
  • Empty wastebaskets
  • Replenish bathroom supplies and terry
  • Sort, count, fold and distribute linen
  • Organize and stock cleaning cart and linen closets
  • Transport trash to disposal area
  • Perform deep cleaning projects
  • Clean hallways, restrooms, elevators, stairwells, locker rooms, and other work areas
  • Use standard hotel cleaning products to maintain health standards
  • Turn in lost and found items
  • Practice emergency procedures and loss prevention guidelines
  • Report maintenance issues and ensure unacceptable rooms are not released
  • Ensure work area is clean when finished
  • Perform all other duties assigned by manager or supervisor
