Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is beneficial
- Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and laundry tasks
- Willingness to follow company cleaning and safety standards strictly
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of guest belongings and keys
- Reliable and punctual work attendance
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or room attendant role is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently within established time guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures strictly
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and handle laundry duties
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests
- Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members
- Clean guest rooms to Company standards including but not limited to making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms completely, wiping down walls, etc
- Clean rooms within the minutes-per-room guideline established by the Executive Housekeeper and General Manager
- Follow Company policy for room amenities
- Turn in all items left in guestroom to manager immediately
- Maintain complete security of master room key and return the key at the end of shift
- Never leave the property with a key
- Report any maintenance items that need immediate attention
- Assist with laundry as needed
- Report any missing/found articles or damage to the Executive Housekeeper
- Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel
- Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management
