Job Requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to follow instructions and comply with company policies
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Integrity in handling guest belongings and hotel property
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a room attendant or in housekeeping is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently within established time guidelines
- Ability to follow safety and security procedures
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist colleagues
Job Duties
- Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times while providing personalized service to hotel guests
- Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members
- Clean guest rooms to Company standards including but not limited to making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms completely, wiping down walls
- Clean rooms within the minutes-per-room guideline established by the Executive Housekeeper and General Manager
- Follow Company policy for room amenities
- Turn in all items left in guestroom to manager immediately
- Maintain complete security of master room and return the key at the end of shift
- Never leave the property with a key
- Report any maintenance items that need immediate attention
- Assist with laundry as needed
- Report any missing/found articles or damage to the Executive Housekeeper
- Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel
- Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management
