Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs continually throughout shift
- Ability to push, pull and move levers, equipment and furniture throughout shift
- Ability to work with arms raised above head throughout shift
- Ability to maneuver maid cart weighing up to 50lbs through hallways and closets
- Ability to identify dirt and debris in poorly lit areas
- Must be able to read written instructions and computer print-outs
- Ability to maintain physical stamina during prolonged strenuous physical activity in indoor climate-controlled environment
- Willingness to work in excessive heat and humidity in laundry area
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must maintain a courteous and friendly attitude
Job Qualifications

- Ability to use cleaning products and operate standard cleaning equipment

Job Duties
- Cleans and prepares guest rooms by meeting established standards of cleanliness and propriety to assure guest satisfaction and maximize revenues
- Retrieves items from shelves and storerooms, sets up cleaning cart with supplies, maintaining carts and storerooms in a clean and orderly fashion to enhance efficiency
- Cleans and wipes windows, doors, walls, closets and fixtures in rooms, public areas and hallways, including washing shower walls, tubs, toilets, mirrors, and sinks to maintain a clean and sanitary environment
- Replaces towels, soaps and all room amenities and restocks literature to ensure adequate supply for arriving guests
- Washes all hard floor areas by hand to remove dirt and soiled areas
- Dusts and polishes all furniture, fixtures and wall hangings including vents and ceiling corners to remove dust and cobwebs
- Strips beds of all linen and remakes with fresh linens, checking for cleanliness and replacing items if soiled
- Vacuums rooms, public areas and hallways, operating vacuums weighing up to 25lbs and moving heavy furniture to reach all carpeted areas
- Inspects all door and window locks to ensure they are in working order and immediately alerts management to any unsecured or unsafe situations
- Inspects all room equipment such as TVs, lights, faucets, and radios to ensure proper working order and reports deficiencies to the Executive Housekeeper
- Secures and maintains custody of equipment, keys and supplies at all times
- Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested by management
