Job Requirements
- Must have the ability to stand for long hours at a time, sometimes for entire shift
- Experience in a fast-paced work environment
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Residency in Illinois or Indiana
- Currently unemployed or underemployed
Job Qualifications
- Previous hotel cleaning experience preferred
- Experience in a fast-paced environment is essential with the ability to consistently meet daily quotas
- Ability to stand for long hours at a time
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Strong communication skills
- Customer service oriented
Job Duties
- Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash
- Handle and store chemicals in line with hotel regulations and any local legislative requirements
- Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service
- Stand for long hours at a time during shifts
- Assist guests by handling luggage and providing exceptional hospitality service
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas as needed
- Adhere to safety and cleanliness protocols established by the hotel
