Job Requirements

  • Must have the ability to stand for long hours at a time, sometimes for entire shift
  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Residency in Illinois or Indiana
  • Currently unemployed or underemployed

Job Qualifications

  • Previous hotel cleaning experience preferred
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment is essential with the ability to consistently meet daily quotas
  • Ability to stand for long hours at a time
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer service oriented

Job Duties

  • Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash
  • Handle and store chemicals in line with hotel regulations and any local legislative requirements
  • Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service
  • Stand for long hours at a time during shifts
  • Assist guests by handling luggage and providing exceptional hospitality service
  • Maintain cleanliness in public areas as needed
  • Adhere to safety and cleanliness protocols established by the hotel
