Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Flexibility to work full-time including evenings weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow safety guidelines
- Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties
- Professional attitude and guest-focused mindset
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in housekeeping preferably in a luxury hotel or similar environment is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift carry or push objects weighing up to 25-30 pounds
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products chemicals and equipment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards in hospitality is a plus
- A positive and professional demeanor with focus on guest satisfaction
Job Duties
- Clean and prepare guest rooms including dusting vacuuming making beds changing linens replenishing towels ensuring all amenities are fully stocked
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways lobbies restrooms and dining areas
- Ensure proper sanitation and hygiene standards including disposal of trash and recycling
- Report maintenance issues damages or safety hazards to Housekeeping Supervisor
- Follow hotel procedures for cleaning and handling linens towels and other supplies
- Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely ensuring proper use and storage
- Provide guests with friendly and professional service anticipating their needs
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and report shortages
- Assist with special cleaning projects and requests
- Adhere to safety and security guidelines
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations
