Job Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred
  • prior experience in cleaning or equivalent training required
  • ability to understand and communicate in English

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a warm and friendly salutation
  • clean guest rooms according to standards within assigned time by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
  • change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities
  • clean and polish furniture and fixtures
  • dust furniture, walls, or equipment
  • notify managers of repair needs in guest rooms
  • process guest lost items according to lost and found policy
  • practice safe work habits using protective equipment and following MSDS and OSHA standards
  • perform cleaning and lobby attendant tasks during staff shortages or busy periods
  • focus on increasing guest and departmental satisfaction scores
  • ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • perform other tasks as assigned by management
