Job Requirements
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods
- Capability to move, reach corners on floors and high places
- Ability to push and navigate carts weighing up to 100 pounds in tight spaces
- Ability to work 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM shifts including weekends
- Ability to maintain a professional and respectful demeanor
- Must comply with all health and safety policies
- Availability to work full-time or part-time depending on business needs
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Must be of high character and demonstrate integrity
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience desirable
- Neat and pleasant personality
- Time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions
- Ability to lift and carry loads up to 25 pounds
- Ability to use cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and dusters
- Commitment to maintain high cleanliness standards
- Positive attitude and teamwork orientation
Job Duties
- Daily changing of soiled linens on beds and remaking beds following property standards
- Thorough cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms, furnishings, hallways, and restrooms
- Keep the work cart, storage closets, and other work areas orderly and properly stocked at all times
- Proper utilization and care of equipment, devices, supplies, and guest amenities
- Strict follow through on lost and found procedures with respect for guests' property
- Ability to work weekends and maintain positive guest interactions
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties
