Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and during special events
- Must be able to follow strict procedures and attention to detail
- Good physical stamina and strength
- Positive attitude and team player mentality
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely
Job Qualifications
- Housekeeping experience desirable
- Neat, pleasant personality
- Time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions
- Ability to move and position self to reach corners on floors and high places
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads and dusters
- Ability to lift, carry and position loads of at least 25lbs
Job Duties
- Daily changing of soiled linens on beds and remaking beds following the property standards
- Thorough cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms, furnishing, hallways, and restrooms
- Keep the work cart, storage closets, and other work areas orderly and properly stocked at all times
- Proper utilization and care of equipment, devices, supplies and guest amenities
- Strict follow through on lost and found procedures
- Project genuine and sincere positivity daily
- Be available to work scheduled shifts including weekends and special event days
