Job Requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- reliable transportation to the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center
- physical stamina to perform housekeeping duties including lifting up to 25 lbs
- compliance with company policies and hygiene standards
- ability to pass a background check
- authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping or hospitality experience desirable
- ability to work standing for extended periods
- effective communication skills
- ability to read room numbers, dates, and instructions
- basic time management skills
- physical ability to lift and carry at least 25 lbs
- ability to handle cleaning equipment safely
- positive and pleasant personality
Job Duties
- Changing soiled linens daily and remaking beds following property standards
- maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms, furnishings, hallways, and restrooms
- keeping work carts, storage closets, and work areas orderly and stocked
- properly using and caring for equipment, supplies, and guest amenities
- following lost and found procedures strictly
- respecting guests' property
- working assigned shifts including weekends and special event days
- assisting with training when qualified
