Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior housekeeping and customer service experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms regularly
  • Able to walk frequently
  • Able to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear, and taste or smell frequently
  • Able to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds frequently and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • U.S. work authorization required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior housekeeping experience
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Acknowledge and greet guests in public spaces with a warm friendly greeting
  • Review daily inventory of rooms, arrivals, and departures
  • Review daily inventory of supplies needed to complete the assignments for the day
  • Clean guest rooms including dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen area, lobby, and common areas
  • Perform quality cleaning to meet required standards within set time limits
  • Pick up ground litter around hotel or whatever visible
  • May perform similar duties as requested by team leader
