Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum of two years housekeeping experience within an upscale hotel preferred
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holiday shifts and overtime
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of housekeeping techniques and productivity standards
  • Ability to prioritize and solve problems
  • Personable and professional conduct
  • May require gaming license at discretion of San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission
  • No driving responsibilities
  • Ability to carry radio and wear earpiece
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-demand environment
  • Ability to work evening, weekend and holiday shifts

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum of two years of housekeeping experience within an upscale hotel preferred

Job Duties

  • Conduct cleaning of all guestrooms, make beds, and provide clean terry and robes
  • Clean, dust, sanitize, collect garbage and replenish all collaterals, supplies, amenities and coffee pods and condiments
  • Respect all guest requests and preferences while adhering to enterprise's policies and applicable laws
  • Find solutions to guest complaints and offer assistance to resolve problems
  • Report maintenance issues to the Office Coordinator or Supervisor
  • Conduct constant inspections of hotel guestrooms to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards
  • Ensure proper usage of chemicals and cleaning supplies in compliance with OSHA and regulations
  • Maintain and use equipment according to health and safety guidelines
  • Motivate employees, collaborate, share knowledge and coach team members
  • Report all maintenance issues and guest requests to Supervisor or Office Coordinator
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support department operations
