Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
Ability to lift bedspreads weighing up to 40 lbs
Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs
Ability to work full-time night shifts
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Ability to respond quickly to guest requests

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous hotel cleaning experience preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with other employees as well as guests
Ability to respond quickly and efficiently to guest requests
Knowledge of chemical safety rules and procedures for hazardous materials
Ability to visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance
Ability to clean 16 rooms in an eight-hour shift
Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs

Job Duties

Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters and floor surfaces, vacuum room and empty trash
Strip and make beds, changing beds linens which may require lifting bedspread weighing a maximum of 40 lb
Make up rollaway beds and cribs in a vacated room and notify house attendants for them to be properly stored
Assist in keeping housekeeping storage closets neat and secure
Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges and shelves
Replenish amenities, linens and supplies in guest room
Report maintenance issues and report any suspicious individuals or activities
