Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work flexible and long hours
- ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally
- ability to stand during entire shift
- attentiveness and courteous behavior towards guests and employees
- ability to thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards
- capability to complete pre-cleaning duties and maintain housekeeping cart
- ability to remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- ability to follow cleanliness and safety protocols
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and standing during shifts
Job Duties
- thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards
- complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
- remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways
- maintain cleanliness and attractive condition of guestrooms
- provide attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests
- assist fellow employees and maintain a friendly work environment
- stand during entire shift and perform physical tasks involving lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling
