Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- basic knowledge of environmental services required
- must be able to work with chemicals while maintaining effective working conditions with other departments
- previous hospitality experience preferred
- must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen
- pass background investigation
- obtain and maintain gaming license
- ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds
- ability to safely use cleaning products and operate cleaning equipment
- ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- ability to work as a team member in a structured environment
- ability to work with timeliness and thoroughness
- physical ability to lift 50-75 pounds regularly
- ability to climb ladders
- stamina for constant walking, bending, stooping, reaching and pushing
- must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications

- previous hospitality or janitorial experience preferred

Job Duties
- Replenish guest floor linen and supply closets as required
- pick-up dirty linen and deliver guest requested items
- be pleasant and friendly to guests and assist them as necessary
- replenish supplies such as drinking glasses and writing supplies, amenities and in-room collateral
- wash windows, walls, and mirrors
- clean, sanitize, and deodorize restrooms
- replace soap and paper products
- turn mattresses and perform heavy cleaning of guest rooms as necessary
- clean the lobby, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways and back-of-the-house areas and offices
- sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors
- clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies
- dust furniture, wash walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
- empty wastebaskets and clean trash receptacles
- transport trash and waste to disposal areas
- replenish bathroom supplies and replace light bulbs
- contribute to team efforts and accomplish related results
- maintain an amicable relationship with co-workers and supervisors
- care for equipment used and eliminate waste of supplies
- follow all safety procedures for use of heavy equipment
- adhere to all security procedures and be knowledgeable with emergency and fire procedures
- take responsibility for any tasks required to assure guest satisfaction
- clean all assigned areas including shampoo carpets, spot clean upholstery and strip and wax floors
- maintain and clean equipment used
- maintain a well-groomed appearance
- clean and service assigned guest rooms and bathrooms in a timely and organized manner
- change sheets and make beds in both stayover and check-out guest rooms
- ensure cleanliness of all ceilings, walls, vents, mirrors, floors, carpet, upholstery, windows, furniture
- pick up paper and trash from floors and guest rooms
- notify Housekeeping Supervisor or guest services when service is complete
- report any room unable to be serviced within time standards to Supervisor
- report needed repairs or unsafe conditions to Supervisor
- respond to requests from guests, supervisors or management efficiently
- maintain and organize housekeeping carts, linen carts and supplies to department standards
- maintain security of equipment, keys and supplies
- report lost and found items to Supervisor
- keep housekeeping storage rooms clean and organized
- provide a professional image through appearance and attire
- report any safety concerns or necessary repairs timely
- operate company vehicles or equipment as assigned
- work flexible schedule including mornings, mid and evening shifts, weekends and holidays
- follow all applicable company policies and procedures
- maintain guest rooms to 4 diamond standards
- perform other duties as assigned
