Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • hotel housekeeping experience preferred
  • commercial laundry room experience preferred
  • knowledge of personal computers, cleaning equipment and sanitation systems
  • ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • pass a background check
  • pass a drug screening test

Job Duties

  • service all bedrooms and corridors in line with casino Standard Operating Policies
  • maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
  • thoroughly clean assigned rooms including replacing soiled linen and towels
  • restock soap, tissues, and drinking glasses
  • disinfect bathroom surfaces
  • dust and polish furniture
  • remove trash
  • vacuum carpets
  • wash uncarpeted floors
  • check and clean or replace shower curtains
  • maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all back-of-house and guest areas
  • store soiled and clean laundry according to SOPs
  • properly label and turn in lost and found articles
  • clean and stock service trolleys
  • work in laundry room as necessary
  • maintain guest security by keeping doors closed and following access protocols
  • train new team members
  • administer key control for issued keys
  • take initiative to assist guests or team members
  • understand and comply with Eye, Hi, Goodbye program
  • maintain regular attendance
  • stay current on casino promotions
  • maintain confidentiality of business and financial information
  • practice safety standards and report safety issues
  • follow universal precautions and use PPE
  • maintain a safe work area and adhere to chemical safety regulations
  • report equipment malfunctions
  • provide assistance to other team members
  • maintain security of equipment, keys and supplies
  • promote excellent guest service through courteous and patient manners
  • immediately report suspicious activities
  • adjust work priorities as necessary
  • perform other related duties
  • accommodate shift changes and overtime as required
