Job Requirements
- No formal education required
- Ability to lift and carry 20lbs frequently, up to 50lbs maximum
- Capacity to stand/walk up to two miles per day on various surfaces
- Ability to perform repetitive motions such as bending, kneeling, stooping, twisting
- Capability to work with cleaning chemicals and adhere to safety standards
- Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
- Good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping experience helpful
- Must pass criminal background check
Job Duties
- Make beds, replenish linens, clean room, bathroom, and halls, vacuum floors
- Unload and load housekeeping cart with supplies
- Replace cleaning supplies as needed
- Report all problems and maintenance repairs
- Communicate room status, work progress, guest requests, and problems to supervisor
- Record and turn in lost and found items
- Keep housekeeping cart clean, neat, and stocked
- Report any unsafe conditions immediately
- Complete all other duties as assigned including cross training
- Work within recognized time frames appropriate to the task
- Meet expected cleaning times for rooms according to brand standards
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
- Treat others with respect and encourage teamwork
