Job Requirements

  • Availability to work full time shifts including weekdays weekends and holidays
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting bending and standing for extended periods
  • Must be dependable and punctual
  • Basic reading and writing skills
  • Willingness to adhere to uniform and grooming standards
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekdays weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Clean guest rooms as assigned including making beds cleaning bathrooms dusting and vacuuming arranging guest belongings in occupied rooms
  • Anticipate and address guests service needs according to Brand Standards and Forbes Service Standards
  • Report and follow up on maintenance deficiencies to maintain room compliance with hotel standards
  • Change and replenish bed linens towels and guest amenities as needed
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness appearance organization and inventory of housekeeping carts and closets assigned
  • Remove linen trash and in room dining items from rooms and suites
  • Respond to special guest requests in a timely friendly and efficient manner
  • Perform guest turndown service as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
