Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior housekeeping experience desirable
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Ability to handle physical demands of cleaning multiple rooms per shift
  • Capability to follow established procedures and property standards
  • Must be punctual and adhere to attendance policies
  • Ability to maintain personal grooming and uniform standards
  • Commitment to workplace safety and reporting issues

Job Qualifications

  • Prior housekeeping experience desirable
  • Past work experience in a similar or commensurate skill set such as hospitality, prison, or military experience
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, co-workers, and management
  • Ability to perform duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, courtesy, and cooperativeness
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Duties

  • Clean and supply all daily assigned guest rooms with special care given to guest belongings
  • Stock each room with appropriate supplies to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Complete job skills training and maintain clear knowledge of job and property standards
  • Attend pre-shift meetings and seek clarification on assignments
  • Arrive on time, follow attendance guidelines, and follow proper clock in and out procedures
  • Maintain a friendly and approachable attitude, follow uniform and appearance standards
  • Use approved verbiage and follow procedures when interacting with guests and entering rooms
  • Conduct oneself professionally in accord with the company’s service culture
  • Complete cleaning tasks methodically and promptly using the Room Attendant Board
  • Ensure rooms meet or exceed quality and efficiency standards before inspection
  • Keep work areas, carts, and closets clean and organized
  • Report deficiencies and unsafe conditions promptly
  • Cooperate with team members and support a positive work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
