Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
  • prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus but not mandatory
  • ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • basic understanding of cleaning supplies and sanitation techniques
  • excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
  • ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • requires standing walking bending and lifting for extended periods
  • exposure to cleaning chemicals
  • may require working weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • clean and sanitize guest rooms including making beds vacuuming dusting and cleaning bathrooms
  • replenish amenities such as towels toiletries and coffee
  • handle and clean laundry according to established procedures
  • report any maintenance issues or damages in guest rooms
  • maintain a high level of cleanliness in all public areas as assigned
  • provide excellent customer service responding to guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally
  • follow all safety and security procedures
  • adhere to all hotel policies and procedures
