Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • must pass a background check
  • must be able to stand for long periods
  • occasionally reach overhead
  • able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 lbs

Job Duties

  • Set up cleaning cart with supplies needed for the day
  • maintain storeroom in an orderly fashion for efficiency
  • clean rooms entirely including windows, doors (knobs), walls, mirrors, floors, sinks, showers, tubs, toilets, stall walls, fixtures, public areas, and hallways
  • dust and polish entire room including furniture, fixtures, wall hangings, vents, and ceiling corners
  • sweep or hose patio balcony floor, wipe down furniture, fixtures, doors, windows, and pick up garbage
  • strip bed linens and remake beds with fresh ones
  • check bedspreads, blankets, and bed pads for cleanliness and replace if soiled
  • inspect between mattresses and under beds for soiled areas
  • check closet cleanliness including wiping down shelves, restocking hangers, extra blankets, and pillows
  • vacuum all rooms, public areas, and hallways
  • inspect equipment including doors (locks), windows (locks), television, light bulbs, lamps, faucets, and radios
  • replace all room amenities including towels, soap, and literature
  • report room status and deficiencies to Manager for resolution
  • secure custody of equipment, keys, and supplies
  • assist laundry department with retrieving and sorting soiled linens
  • maintain a neat appearance and wear company uniform
  • maintain friendly and courteous demeanor to guests
  • attend required meetings and trainings
  • work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
  • perform other duties assigned by management
