Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping experience desirable
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and hotel protocols
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Commitment to providing excellent guest service

  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters
  • Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs

Job Duties

  • Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
  • Work as a team to accomplish the goal of hotel cleanliness
  • Keep work cart orderly and properly stocked
  • Proper utilization of equipment supplies and guest amenities
  • Thorough cleanliness and sanitation of assigned guest areas
  • Daily changing and inspection of linens and towels following Green Program standards
  • Practice safety standards and report hazards
  • Respect guests' property
  • Responsible care of equipment
  • Report to work on time and follow proper room issuance standards
  • Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and co-workers
  • Perform other related duties as requested by Floor Supervisor
