Job Requirements
- Less than high school education or equivalent
- Up to six months related experience or training
- Ability to read and understand two- and three-syllable words
- Ability to print and speak simple sentences
- Ability to apply common sense to detailed instructions
- Ability to communicate in English with guests
- Ability to identify and report safety or security concerns
- Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and handle cleaning chemicals
- Willingness to work in moderate noise environment and use hand tools
Job Qualifications

- Physical fitness to perform cleaning tasks regularly
Job Duties
- Clean rooms and halls daily in accordance with hotel procedures
- Stock cart with guest room supplies at beginning of shift
- Greet guests warmly upon encounter
- Replace linens on beds and replenish room supplies
- Empty wastebaskets and clean ashtrays
- Rearrange furnishings and room accessories
- Provide linens and amenities according to guest room legend
- Ensure rooms are locked and arranged per executive housekeeper's standards
- Report damages, hazards, and suspicious persons
- Return lost and found items with proper documentation
- Manage all keys assigned for the shift
- Clean corridors and service areas
- Respond to housekeeping management requests
- Replace light bulbs when necessary
- Restock cart and organize linen closet at end of shift
