Job Requirements
- Pass security clearance as per company policy
- Ability to stand for eight hours and perform physical activities like bending, stretching, reaching, crawling, kneeling
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and push or pull up to 60 pounds
- Ability to see, hear, read, and communicate in English
- Maintain professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
- Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends
- Capable of performing major life activities such as learning, concentrating, thinking, and communicating
- Comply with all company standards and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Experience in lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
- Knowledge of proper linen and supply handling procedures
- Familiarity with sanitation and safety standards
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning checklists
- Capacity to maintain guest privacy
- Skills in multitasking and remaining service-centric
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry specified weights
Job Duties
- Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous professional manner following company hospitality standards
- Clean vacant dirty rooms to be guest ready and occupied dirty rooms to clean status within time and accuracy constraints
- Maintain grooming and uniform standards daily
- Organize and maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart
- Follow all cleaning procedures in the company training and checklist
- Report discrepancies to housekeeping manager
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of other hotel areas including lounges, restrooms, public and back-of-house spaces
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
- Adhere to safety and security procedures and emergency protocols
- Perform other assigned duties as capable
