Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of hospitality experience in housekeeping preferred
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to clean multiple room types and meet daily cleaning quotas
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Adherence to hotel policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Clean assigned guest rooms or suites per brand standards including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms
  • Maintain cleaning protocols
  • Empty trash containers and replace liners
  • Restock usable guest room items such as soap, towels, and amenities
  • Ensure removal and proper disposition of guest trays, glass, and silverware
  • Clean and vacuum exterior entries and hallways
  • Keep linen closets and supply areas organized
  • Attend promptly to guest laundry and dry-cleaning orders
  • Notify supervisors of maintenance needs or guest room issues
  • Handle guest complaints and requests or refer them to supervisors
  • Secure rooms upon leaving
  • Demonstrate genuine hospitality and provide excellent guest service
  • Follow all hotel procedures and policies
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by management to ensure guest satisfaction
