Job Requirements
- Must pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
- Ability to stand for eight hours and perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, lifting up to 30 pounds and 60 pounds for pushing/pulling
- Ability to communicate in English, additional languages helpful
- Must display professionalism and trustworthiness
- Flexibility to work holidays and weekends
- Ability to maintain a friendly and professional image while working long hours
- Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Experience in similar positions such as lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
- Ability to perform major life activities including standing, lifting, bending, and communicating
- Professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow systematic cleaning procedures
- Basic understanding of safety and security measures
Job Duties
- Provides excellent guest service in a courteous and professional manner following company hospitality standards
- Maintains cleanliness of guest rooms and usage of supplies
- Cleans vacant and occupied rooms within specified time and accuracy constraints
- Maintains professional appearance adhering to grooming and uniform standards
- Keeps housekeeping cart clean and orderly
- Follows all cleaning procedures as per training and checklists
- Reports discrepancies and hazards to management
- Assists in maintaining cleanliness in public areas including restrooms, lounges, and stairwells
- Responds promptly to guest requests and inquiries
- Understands and follows emergency procedures and safety protocols
- Performs other duties as assigned
