Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and stand for extended periods
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow safety procedures
- Must maintain a neat and professional appearance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is an asset
- Ability to follow established safety and security procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties and stand for long periods
Job Duties
- Stocks housekeeping bag to ensure that enough cleaning supplies, equipment, and amenities are available to properly clean each room
- Observes knocking procedures upon entering a guest room
- Cleans the guest rooms assigned and ensures amenities are stocked
- Completes the entire housekeeping checklist
- Accurately marks clean rooms to supervisor for inspection
- Reports any damages or hazards in guest rooms such as burned out light bulbs or broken furniture
- Secures guest room doors upon exiting
- Keeps corridors and service areas neat
- Turns in all lost and found items and guest room keys
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures
- Follows safety and security procedures and rules
- Reports unsafe conditions and accidents to management
- Maintains a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- Assists other housekeeping personnel when needed
- Performs any related duties as requested by management
