Job Requirements
- Non-slip shoes are recommended
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
- Requires walking and standing to a significant degree, reaching, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, stooping, handling and seeing
- Lifting up to 50 lbs maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying or transporting of objects weighing up to 25 lbs
- Inside environmental conditions protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes
- Potential exposure to paint, solvents, cleaning chemicals and/or fumes
Job Qualifications
- No prior experience or education is required
- Must have developed language skills to the point to be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, safety rules and memos
- Requires mathematical development sufficient to be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Must have developed reasoning skills to be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
Job Duties
- Provide top quality service and meets guests needs
- Thoroughly clean all assigned guestrooms to include changing linens, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, scrubbing, washing and replenishing supplies
- Thoroughly clean public space, work areas and storage areas
- Maintain room quality based on hotel and brand standards
- Follow standard procedures for acceptance and security of guest lost and found items
- Ensure master keys and located guestroom keys are properly secured
- Ability to work well with a diverse group of people
