Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs continually throughout a shift
- must be able to push, pull and move equipment and furniture
- must be able to work with arms raised above head during shift
- must be able to maneuver loaded carts weighing up to 50lbs through hallways and closets
- ability to identify minute debris and dirt in poorly lit areas
- ability to read written instructions and computer print-outs
Job Qualifications

- basic knowledge of general cleaning principles
- knowledge of use of cleaning products and equipment
- ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- physical ability to perform job tasks including lifting and moving furniture
Job Duties
- Retrieves items from shelves and storerooms, sets up cleaning cart with supplies, constantly maintaining carts and storerooms in a clean and orderly fashion to enhance efficiency and ease of cleaning rooms
- cleans and wipes windows, doors, walls, closets and fixtures in rooms, public areas and hallways
- washes shower walls and tub, cleans toilet(s) and stall walls if applicable, wipes exposed pipes, cleans mirrors, sink(s) and walls to maintain clean and sanitary guest and public restrooms
- replaces towels, soaps and all room amenities and restocks literature to ensure adequate supply for guests
- washes all hard floor areas by hand to remove dirt and soiled areas
- dusts and polishes all furniture, fixtures and wall hangings including vents and ceiling corners
- strips bed of all linen and remakes with fresh, checking bedding for cleanliness and replacing if soiled
- lifts mattresses to check for soil beneath
- checks closet cleanliness, wipes closet doors, handles and shelves, restocks guest room supplies
- vacuums rooms, public areas and hallways, operating vacuums weighing up to 25lbs and moving heavy furniture to reach all areas
- inspects door and window locks and reports unsecured or unsafe situations
- inspects room equipment like TV, lights, faucets and radios for working order and reports maintenance issues
- secures and maintains custody of equipment, keys and supplies
- maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor
- performs other duties as assigned by management
