Job Requirements

  • Pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
  • Ability to stand for eight hours and perform activities such as bending stretching reaching crawling kneeling
  • Ability to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
  • Ability to see hear speak and read or understand English
  • Display professionalism honesty and trustworthiness at all times
  • Ability to perform major life activities including learning reading concentrating thinking and communicating
  • Maintain flexible work schedule availability for holidays weekends and various shifts in a 24/7 operation

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in similar positions such as lodging housing hospitals or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of proper procedures for handling linens terry and other supplies
  • Knowledge of sanitation of supplies guestrooms and public areas
  • Knowledge of guestroom cleaning procedures
  • Knowledge of safety and security measures
  • Ability to maintain designated cleaning minutes per room
  • Ability to maintain guest privacy
  • Ability to follow systematic cleaning procedures
  • Ability to assist with guest issues in a hospitable and professional manner
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective communication skills in English

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient courteous professional manner following company hospitality standards
  • Ensure cleanliness of guest rooms and proper usage and organization of supplies
  • Clean vacant dirty rooms and return occupied dirty rooms to clean status within specified time and quality standards
  • Maintain a crisp clean and professional appearance daily adhering to grooming and uniform standards
  • Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart
  • Follow all company cleaning procedures and training checklists for every assignment
  • Report any discrepancies or hazardous conditions to the Housekeeping Manager immediately
  • Assist in maintaining other hotel areas such as lounges restrooms public areas stairwells and back-of-house areas in clean and orderly condition
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Understand safety security and emergency procedures and apply them as necessary
  • Perform additional duties as assigned that are within ability to perform
