Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous cleaning experience preferred
Basic cleaning skills
Ability to communicate in English effectively
Ability to prioritize and organize tasks
Dependable and trustworthy
Physical ability to perform repetitive bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching, twisting, crawling, lifting up to 20 lbs
Awareness of safety and security importance
Friendly and courteous attitude towards guests and team members

Job Qualifications

Previous one year experience preferred
Basic cleaning skills
Ability to communicate in English with guests, management and fellow team members to their understanding desirable
Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments

Job Duties

Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times while providing personalized service to hotel guests
Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members
Clean guest rooms to DKN Hotels standards including but not limited to making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms completely, wiping down walls
Clean rooms within the minutes-per-room guideline established by the Executive Housekeeper and General Manager
Follow DKN Hotels policy for room amenities
Turn in all items left in guestroom to manager immediately
Maintain complete security of master room key and return the key at the end of shift
Never leave the property with key
Report any maintenance items that need immediate attention
Assist with laundry as needed
Report any missing or found articles or damage to the Executive Housekeeper
Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel
Deliver DKN Hotels Home Away From Home experience
Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
