Job Requirements

  • Must pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
  • Ability to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
  • Must be able to stand for eight hours and perform physical activities such as bending, stretching, crawling, and kneeling
  • Must be able to see, hear, speak, read, and understand English
  • Willingness to maintain professionalism and trustworthiness at all times
  • Must be available to work flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
  • Must adhere to grooming and uniform standards
  • Must comply with all safety and security guidelines
  • Ability to maintain designated minutes per room
  • Willingness to perform duties outside normal responsibilities as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
  • Capable of performing physical work including standing, lifting, bending for extended periods
  • Ability to follow systematic cleaning procedures and maintain guest privacy
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Friendly and helpful communication skills with guests and co-workers

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous professional manner
  • Follow The Company standards of friendly hospitality and adhere to guidelines and procedures
  • Clean vacant dirty rooms and return occupied rooms to a clean status within specified brand standards
  • Maintain a crisp, clean and professional appearance adhering to grooming and uniform standards
  • Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart
  • Follow all cleaning procedures outlined in training and checklists
  • Assist in maintaining other hotel areas such as lounges, restrooms, public areas, stairwells, and back of house
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
  • Report any discrepancies to the Housekeeping Manager
  • Comply with safety and security procedures and emergency protocols
  • Perform other duties as assigned within capabilities
