Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred but not required
- Ability to carry out specific oral or written instructions
- Ability to perform repetitive actions consistently
- Ability to perform job-related physical activities including standing or sitting for extended periods, lifting and carrying items, bending, twisting, and reaching
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to comply with all housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards

Job Duties
- Greet guests and respond to queries
- Make beds in guest rooms
- Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, water, coffee, writing supplies, and bathroom supplies in guest rooms
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies using vacuum cleaner
- Dust furniture and equipment
- Polish metalwork such as fixtures and fittings
- Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
- Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, transport trash and waste to disposal area
- Replace light bulbs
- Collect soiled linens for laundering and receive and store linen supplies
- Load articles into washer and add specified amount of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agent
- Lift clean, wet articles from washer and place them into wringers and driers
- Sort dried articles according to identification number or type, fold and place item in storage bin
- Report any technical issues and maintenance needs
- Update status of guest rooms on assignment sheet
- Return and restock cleaning cart at shift end
- Comply with all housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards
- Ability to perform physical activities including standing, sitting for extended periods, lifting, bending, twisting, and reaching
- Perform other duties as assigned
