Job Requirements

  • Pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
  • ability to perform major life activities such as standing, lifting, bending, and communicating
  • able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
  • able to stand for eight hours and perform physical tasks like bending, stretching, crawling, and kneeling
  • able to see, hear, speak, and understand English
  • display professionalism, honesty and trustworthiness at all times

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in similar positions such as lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
  • knowledge of proper procedures for handling linens and supplies
  • understanding of sanitation and guest room cleaning procedures
  • ability to maintain guest privacy
  • strong communication skills
  • professionalism and trustworthiness

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous professional manner
  • ensure cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas
  • organize and manage supplies and linens properly
  • follow all cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
  • respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
  • maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart
  • report discrepancies and hazardous conditions to management
