Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- Ability to stand for the duration of the entire shift
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Attentive and courteous with guests and employees
- Willingness to adhere to company cleaning and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects
- Ability to stand during entire shift
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner
Job Duties
- Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards
- Complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
- Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways
- Keep all hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat and vacuumed
- Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use
- Replenish chemical bottles
- Report all missing items from rooms to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
- Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
- Handle items for lost and found according to standards
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
