Job Requirements

  • Pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
  • able to stand for eight hours and perform physical tasks including lifting 30 pounds and pushing/pulling 60 pounds
  • able to bend, stretch, reach, crawl, kneel
  • able to see, hear, and communicate effectively in English
  • maintain flexibility to work holidays and weekends
  • maintain professional appearance consistently
  • comply with all company standards and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities preferred but not mandatory
  • knowledge of proper linen handling procedures
  • understanding of sanitation processes and guest room cleaning methods
  • familiarity with safety and security measures
  • ability to maintain guest privacy
  • strong communication skills in English, additional languages helpful
  • ability to follow systematic cleaning procedures
  • ability to assist guests with professionalism and care
  • ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • demonstrated honesty, trustworthiness, and professionalism

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner
  • maintain cleanliness of guest rooms following company standards
  • organize and manage usage of cleaning supplies
  • clean vacant and occupied rooms according to brand standards
  • maintain professional appearance and adhere to grooming and uniform standards
  • upkeep housekeeping carts in a clean and orderly fashion
  • follow all housekeeping training procedures and checklists
  • assist in cleaning other hotel areas including lounges, restrooms, public spaces
  • respond immediately to guest requests and inquiries
  • report discrepancies to housekeeping management
  • adhere to safety and security protocols
  • perform other duties as assigned
