Job Requirements
- must have at least one year of cleaning or janitorial experience
- be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- have basic reading and writing abilities
- possess effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- demonstrate interpersonal skills such as listening, smiling, relating, and teamwork
- ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and remain composed under pressure
- physical ability to stand and walk for 8 or more hours
- able to walk around hotel premises including stairs
- able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and push or pull approximately 200 lbs
- maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Job Qualifications
- minimum one year of cleaning or janitorial experience
- hotel guest room cleaning experience preferred
- basic reading and writing skills
- ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain focus under pressure
- conflict resolution skills
- bilingual or multilingual preferred
- prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- emotional intelligence training preferred
Job Duties
- cleaning and servicing guest rooms to ensure comfort
- assist in maintaining cleanliness of public areas
- answer guest inquiries promptly and courteously
- deliver requested items to guest rooms
- perform turndown service
- restock guest room supplies and amenities
- assist with special cleaning projects as needed
